Acrylic on canvas, 24x18"

The painting is on a stretched canvas, painted round the sides, with string on the back, so it is ready to hang as it is or can be framed if you prefer.

This was a commission for a relative who wanted a painting of a calming scene for her lounge, which would go with her grey and white colour scheme. While painting it I was thinking about the natural rhythm of the tides, and the seashells being 'natural treasures' washed up, for their beauty to be viewed for a short time, before being washed back out to sea.
