The painting is on a stretched canvas, painted round the sides, with a string on the back, so it is ready to hang as it is, or can be framed if you prefer.

The inspiration for this painting was a ruined barn we came across on a family walk. A family member said something like, "look at that horrible old thing, they should have pulled it down altogether." But I thought it looked like a piece of art, even if unintentional! By painting it as a piece of art, have I made it art? It seemed like it would suit a Van Gogh like style so that's what I have tried to do with some swirling lines.
